The Global Engine Manufacturing Alliance is a wholly owned subsidiary of Chrysler LLC/Fiat.

The plant was formed with a goal of manufacturing an advanced family of fuel-efficient, cost-competitive, in-line four-cylinder gasoline engines for the automotive industry.
